Underground Inspection Services
Cahaba Energy Solutions provides experienced employees who ensure that all overhead and underground work is performed to the utilities specifications and standards. All CES inspectors and coordinators previously worked as lineman and they are knowledgeable in all aspects of line work.
Crew Coordinators
We provide crew coordinators who are experienced in all aspects of the project and know how to get the project successfully completed on time, within budget, and according to the design specifications.
Inspectors
CES performs asset inspections by mobilizing a highly qualified, experienced line workers to inspect and evaluate each asset. We provide detailed reports for any discrepancies and track these discrepancies until corrections have been completed.
Storm Response
CES has experienced line workers to serve as evaluators, damage assessors, and storm crew leaders. Our evaluators also specialize in crew onboarding for off-system contractors.
Project Managers
We provide Project Management Services for power line construction projects as well as fiber projects. Our PMs track construction costs and schedules as well as facilitate moving a project from engineering to construction to closeout.

Greg Herbinger
Fiber to Distribution Inspector
Greg has over 40 years of experience working as a Lineman, Foreman, Safety Coordinator, and Contractor Coordinator for an Investor-Owned Utility. He brings a wealth of knowledge to CES. Greg currently serves as a Fiber to Distribution Inspector.
Greg Christie
Strategic Underground Inspector
Prior to becoming an inspector coordinator, Greg worked for 28 years as a Lineman, Foreman, General Foreman, and Superintendent for a power line utility contractor. His background and expertise in distribution and substation work brings incredible value to CES. Greg currently serves as a Strategic Underground Inspector.
